How to get things done on PocketPairings.

Playing in an event

Make an account with an email and password, or with Continue with Discord. Then the rest of this page applies to you.

1. Set up your profile

  • Verify your email. Required before you can register for anything.
  • Link your Player ID. Your pairing is then highlighted automatically in any event you are in.
  • Complete your profile. Name and birth year — the birth year sets your age division, and it is locked once saved.

Playing for a child as well as yourself? One account can hold several players — add them as family members from the same page.

2. Build a deck

The deck builder is under Lists.

  • From scratch — search the card catalog, set quantities, and watch the legality check as you go.
  • Import — paste a PTCG Live or Limitless TCG export and it is read straight in.

A saved deck shows its card count, its legality and its format, and can be reused for as many events as you like.

3. Register

On an event that is open for registration, press Register. Your name and division come from your profile.

If the event wants a decklist, you can submit one there and then, or any time before it locks. The site reminds you when an event is coming up and your list is still missing.

4. During the event

  • Your pairing sits at the top of the event page — your opponent and your table.
  • Report the result — win, loss or tie.
  • Confirm or dispute what your opponent reported. A dispute goes to a judge.
  • View my run — every match you have played and your record so far.

5. Afterwards

Your profile keeps every tournament you have played, with where you finished. It also lists the events you are registered for, any decklist still missing, and any judge invitations waiting on you.
